(Discontinued) COBI-5714 WWII – Vought F4U Corsair Plane

$34.95

Build the mission with COBI construction sets (each sold separately). Without a doubt, the F4U Vought Corsair was one of the most famous planes of World War II with its gull shaped wings and long nose.  Although Corsairs were designed to be carrier-based planes, they were also flown from airfields on land as well. When they were first flown in 1943, it gave the US Navy and US Marine Corps, an advantage against the Japanese. By the time production ended in 1952, over 12,500 Corsairs had been produced.
