Did you know? – The United States Space Force is a separate and distinct branch of the armed services that’s been organized under the Department of the Air Force. The U.S. Space Force was established Dec. 20, 2019 when the National Defense Authorization Act was signed into law (with bi-partisan support), creating the first new branch of the armed services in 73 years.
The establishment of the USSF resulted from widespread recognition that Space is a national security imperative. Today, the Guardians of the USSF are called to protect and defend American interests and to ensure our forces, our allies, and the world never experience a day without space. They serve across the globe, working 24/7 to design, acquire, field, test, operate, and defend the critical space systems the nation, and the world, rely upon.
The symbol for the USSF, the Delta, honors the heritage of the USAF and Space Command. The Space Force Motto “Semper Supra” means “Always Above.”

Admission is free and we are open Tuesday through Saturday (closed Mondays) from 10:00am to 5:00pm year round. And April through September, we are also open on Sundays from noon to 5:00pm.
