6.5oz Raw Honey – Wisconsin Wildflower by Bird and the Bees

This variety from Bird and the Bees, Wisconsin Wildflower, has warm spice notes and a fruity finish. The flavor comes from a mix of summer flowers from central Wisconsin including dandelion, sumac, basswood, clover, star thistle, knotweed and goldenrod. With a dark amber color it is a bit stronger so it works great in drinks and cooking where you really want the honey flavor to shine through. 

About Bird and the Bees

Amherst-native, husband, James Cook, and wife, Samantha Jones, along with their trusty parrot, Kat are a team. They’re the family behind Bird and the Bees honey. (Kat often samples the honey and approves.) 

Specializing in varietal, naturally pollinated honey and high-quality 100% beeswax candles, their bee farm is located in central Wisconsin. Iola to be exact. Their goal is to provide honey “closest to the hive” as possible. Bird and the Bees does not filter their honey or heat it above the temperature it would be in the hive. Most honey available for sale in grocery stores has been blended and cooked. In the process, it loses the nuanced flavors that Bird and the Bees honey contains.
