About Heritage Pewter
Heritage Metalworks, Inc. was started in 1988 by Scott and Steven Ballor. Steven Ballor had years of experience as a model maker and jeweler, and Scott Ballor had recently earned a degree in Business Administration. The humble beginnings were in Steven’s garage in Mesa, Arizona. The first years were spent developing a product line and a establishing a growing customer base.
When it became necessary to hire employees, the company moved to a 2,000 sq. foot building in 1990. Three years later it was time to move to a 9,000 sq. foot building. Sales continued to increase, and in 1999, construction began on their new 20,000 sq. foot facility. With over 50 employees and over 10,000 satisfied customers, Heritage Metalworks looks forward to a dynamic future.
About the Wisconsin Veterans Museum
The Wisconsin Veterans Museum tells the stories of Wisconsinites who have served in the U.S. military from the Civil War to the present day. Located on Capitol Square in Madison, Wisconsin, we are a Smithsonian Affiliate and an educational activity of the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs.
